Seeking application innovation driven by new technology, Yu has invested in companies including Vue, Mark Camera, Plum, Party Animals, Shoplazza, MetaApp, HotMaxx, Kuaiyin and Yidui. 

Yu holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Math and Statistics from San Francisco State University.
